My kids... What else is there.

Me or Doug dying before out kids are raised.
That I may never get in shape again.(Thin and in shape are different to me:)
Having to have another c-section.

To survive motherhood and not have my kids hate me:)

3 current obsessions/ collections

Traveling Europe as much as possible before the next year is up.
I am trying to get a good collection of antiques before we leave England.
I am also collecting pottery from Europe..English, Polish, German so far.

3 random surprising facts about yourself:

I sleep more nights in my kids beds than my own, not because I don't want to be in my bed.
I am enjoying being a mother more with each addition to our family- Maybe we'll do it again.
I love "Fiber One" cereal bars. I can't get enough of them right now.

Wales with the White's

Doug's little sister Natalie with a bit of help from Tyler, watched our kids while we were on the cruise. When we got home the house was spotless and the kids were all happy. They did a great job. With in a couple hours of getting home, we packed up and headed to Wales. The cottage we stayed in was only a half step above camping, but I was glad to not be in a tent those nights. We crammed our selves in two bedrooms of 16 bunk beds. Some of the group, epecially the kids enjoyed a few hikes to the waterfall and chasing the sheep. The others stayed behind and tring to get over the flu. It will be a great memory for all. That is what is important in the end. I think.alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5206204665002081618" />

Cruisin' the Riviera

Last week we Doug and I went on a crusie with his parents- Wes and Kay, Doug's sister Kelli and hubby Nate. It was such a great get away. We flew into Barcelona Spain. Where we took a quick tour of the city and Antonio Gaudi's "La Sagrada Familia".

That evening we set off cruising. Our First stop was Cannes France. Where we got to see all the hype of the Film festival. Unfortunately we didn't get to see any one famous, except maybe the paparazzi that take the picture. We then took a train ride up the coast to Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Monaco Grand Prix was in full force. We enjoyed seeing all the expensive cars and the town ready for the big race. We were not "hoight toight" enough to get in the casino, I guess we are not much for gambling any how. So we took walk along the beach and enjoyed the great weather.


The next stop was Pisa Italy. We had seen Florence already so Doug and I split off and headed for the Cinque Terre. It is five ancient cities that for thousands of years were only acessible by boat. The building hang on the sides of the cliffs. It was beautiful. I think this was my favorite port. We walked the path between the first three cities, then the train to the last two. I only wish we had more time to do all the hikes. It was gorgeous.

The last stop was Rome. We got a local guide for the day and we saw as much as is possible in 10 hours. It is an amazing city. Sadly enough the Vatican was closed due to Corpus Christi Day. We were able to see St. Peter's Basilica though. The most interesting part of the day or maybe I should say different part, was the Catacombs. It was a little creepy to be walking so close to where the dead are buried.

The last day of the cruise was at sea. We hungout in the hot tubs, ate and ate and ate and got some sun. It was fun to spend time with Doug's parents and Kelli and Nate, talking and catching up. The things we just don't get time to do when life is going on. Thanks for the great trip Family. We need to do this more often:)

Hobo dinner with the Wilkins

Our wonderful neighbors, the Wilkins, came over for Hobo dinners in the fire pit. We met the Wilkins on our way to England at an air show at Hill AFB. They have been a huge blessing in our lives. The first year we were here, we tried to live close to them and it just didn't work out. Luckily the next year a home opened three doors down and housing gave it to them. Vicki has become one of my best friends, supporting me through all the trials of motherhood( she has great experience with her own 9 wonderful children). The younger Wilkins are well matched for my kids, and the older are incredible babysitters. We just love them!!

Natalie's Wedding

Natalie's Wedding was absolutely beautiful. Natalie was gorgeous and the reception was wonderful.

Mckinzie, Lexi and Alivia had a ball. They looked almost like angels in their dresses Grandma made them. Mckinzie and Lexi were sweet enough to serve anyone who would take their pre-tested drinks. Jaxon, Josh, Adam and Wesley were huge helpers with the many gifts. Thank goodness they are all in one piece.Here are a few other favorite pictures. Thank you Mom McDermott for the pictures.




We were lucky to have the honeymooners here in England this last week. We didn't see much of them, but they got to see alot of England. They will be returning later this month from Spain, to help with our kids. Bless poor Natalie. We hope she wants to have kids after the week is over.

We all feel so happy for the two of them. They are a great fit for each other. Welcome to the family Tyler!!! We already love you!
