Tonight, while looking back on the week, I started to add up a few of them. For the sake of brevity, I have included only the highlights. The picture above is the mess I just finished cleaning up. Mckinzie came running out of the kitchen saying, "Mom, you've got to come see what Liam did!" This is a picture of the waterfall he created. I turned the water down before taking the picture. When I came in the tap was on full speed.
This is the bite mark from earlier today on Mckinzie's arm. When I intervened- I put him in time out in his room, where he pulled out all the diapers and threw them around the room.
Above is from two days ago. While I was down stairs Liam was upstairs watching TV. When I heard water running in the bathroom, I went to see what was up. I found him with the tub running, the sink running, and many things soaking in the tub and sink. He had also pulled out all the dental floss and had it strewn all over the floor. Later we realized four toothbrushes are missing, yet to be found. In my room was a tube of lotion rubbed into the carpet. I quickly cleaned up the messes, dumped water on the lotion, wiped it up and put him to bed. That night when I went to my room, I looked at the floor and realized it was lighter where the lotion had been poured. That is when I found an empty tube of acne medicine that was mixed in with the lotion. I hadn't realized my haste to clean up was not good enough, now have pink carpet:)
This story goes along with Tuesday when I got done changing his bum, I asked him to throw his diaper away. Later I hear a noise in the bathroom. As I came in the now empty diaper is on the floor, completely full of water after being put in the toilet to get the poop out. After which he put all the TP in the toilet, then flushed as he used the toilet brush to try to shove it all down and then "clean" the floor. As I was cleaning up and flushing the toilet he said "Bye, bye poo poo" with a big wave and smile. I had to have a good laugh at that.
The list goes on, but I wouldn't trade them for the world. This boy loves his mom. I love it when he: he cuddles with me, grabs my face and gives me kiss after kiss all over my face, at night when we sing together then he puts his face right next to my neck and snuggles in while I rock him. My heart could not melt quicker. He is an active boy with very strong feelings and like he tells me "Liam yummy!!" He really is:)
